Think summer, think long drinks


50g strawberries, halved

6 sprigs mint, fresh

300ml Pimm’s, No 1 cup

1000ml low calorie ginger ale or diet lemonade, chilled


If taking on a picnic, take the component parts separately. Keep the fruit in a small plastic pot and the Pimm’s and ginger ale in cool bags. To serve, place the cucumber, strawberries and mint in a large serving jug with ice, if you have some, then add the Pimm’s and ginger ale (or lemonade) and mix well.

A serving is 1.3 units of alcohol.
