Body Mass Index (BMI) is an assessment generally used by GPs and health experts to determine if a person is underweight, overweight or within a healthy weight range.

Setting a goal to lose 5% or 10% of your body weight is an excellent start. This acts as an achievable ‘stepping stone’ to your ultimate Goal Weight and can give you a real boost of motivation, to keep you on your weight loss path.
